Taha Hamed is a diligent artist. Wherever he is, he always manages to find paper and pen and starts a kind of note-taking of his momentary presence in that place without losing his connection to the environment. He externalizes the outside through drawing and internalizes it, keeping it for himself. This behavior can also be seen in his dairies. He keeps his thoughts and fragments of real-life events hidden in a corner of a notebook full of sketches and scribbles. Taha constantly repeats this act of holding the essence of people, objects, loved ones, and intertwined thoughts. However, in this repetition, there is no reproduction. It is not something that is replicated. It is about those evasive moments whitch Taha attempts to capture through drawing/writing. The abundance of Taha Hamed’s drawings reflects an effort to grasp the elusive time of his lived exerience.
I Was interested in painting from childhood and I took courses based on hachure for about six years…I continued my education in painting in art and architecture university of tehran.
In high school, I used to do architect projects of university students for pin money.
By the very beginning of entering the university, I had the opportunity to represent my thoughts and works in various art galleries.
Since I am interested in performing works In large scales ,I have done murals and Based-space paintings ordered by municipalities and private clients.
in the past years ,beside the paintings , mostly im working on collage screen print based and in animations based on clay, These efforts are rooted in my childhood and my interest to video games and movies.
